Search for light

In the search for light we will

inevitably

find darkness.

When light shines

it throws a shadow.

We can try to run away

or hide

but it will lead to more darkness.

Hiding from shadow

means sitting in corners

where no light shines through.

So one must

go through darkness

to find light.

The challenge is

not being consumed by it.

Not getting dragged into the depth,

but purposely seeking depth.

One is by accident,

one is consciously.

What‘s on the other side

you might ask.

Nothing that is already here.

You.

Your Self.

But transformed.

Changed.

By accident or consciously.

Just a matter of hiding vs. soul-searching.

Pain will follow you both ways.

You choose to react.

Or act.

Instead.
